Together, we have made history, ending 75 years of marijuana prohibition under Colorado law. This is a pivotal moment for all of us. It means that anyone over the age of 21 can get pain relief without a doctor’s prescription. It means that you, your friends and your loved ones who use cannabis for recreational purposes are no longer processed as criminals by our state. It also means increased tax revenue for your cities and counties, a better focus of our law enforcement resources and a better Colorado for all.
Sensible Colorado has been fighting to end prohibition since 2004 and could not have done it without you. As you know, our victory is only part of the story.
